I love Olay products and have used them almost exclusively for the past ten years. But this one is...odd. I tried it for the first time yesterday and immediately ran out to do errands. When I got home, my husband took one look and asked, "What's on your face? It looks all red and shiny." Only then did I take a close look in the mirror. I don't know about the red, but the shiny was certainly correct. I looked like my face was made of glossy plastic!
There are tiny sparkly bits in this makeup that literally make your skin glow--in my case, not in a good way. It is NOT a matte finish, so if that's what you're expecting, look elsewhere.

I do not have sensitive skin at all. I am not prone to breakouts either. My pregnancy left me with a little discoloration around my eye area and I thought PERFECT ... illumination ... discoloration correction ... moisturizer ... all in one! I wanted to love it and I noticed a little tingle when I first put it on. Kind of a cross between a slight burn and a mild itch. Because I loved the light coverage and dewy look I figured the weird sensation would go away. It really didn't. I really love how this looks and even feels when you touch it - so if you're lucky enough to not feel the burn/itch ... it's great. Not for me though

Well I have medium sensitive skin. I bought the Olay Difinity skin care starter TRIO and it came with 3 products. This product is one of the 3. I have to say I am disappointed because when I read the packaging it said it was for correcting skin tones and hyper pigmentation. I thought it would do this through chemical lighteners but really its just a light foundation. I use airbrush foundation so it was useless for me to purchase this ADDITIONAL foundation that doubles as a moisturizer.
Maybe I will just spend the $$$$$ and buy the OBAGI lightening system, this one just is not what I was looking for. And the packaging was very deceptive.

You know those times when you just want to run out to the store or you're just sitting around the house and you don't really want to put on make-up, but your skin looks kinda blah? This is more like a tinted moisturizer. It's very light and fair/light color is just enough to even out my skin tone without looking "made-up". It gives my skin a moist, dewy look and it feels good on. It has a 15 SPF sunscreen built in which is nice when you're in a hurry. I think I'll probably use it in place of foundation. With a little blusher and some lipstick I'm ready to go.
As I get older (I'm 61) and am getting a few wrinkles I notice that some foundations seem to settle into the creases. This product doesn't do that. Sometimes I wear it over Olay Regenerist Regenerating Lotion with UV protection. Packaging May Vary, 2.5 fl oz for a little extra moisture, but most of the time I just wear it alone. I should mention that you use about the same amount as the one drop or so that you would with the Regenerist. A little goes a long way. If I use more than that it ends up looking like a regular foundation. Does it make me look younger? I don't know about that, but it does work as kind of an illuminator, making my skin look fresher. I think that gives the illusion of younger skin. And "dewy wrinkles" are better than dry ones, right?
I have fair skin and usually use a light to medium foundation. This color, the fair/light is perfect for me. I think it tends to have a little more color than some products and I'm afraid a medium could end up looking too dark or made up. I like this product and will continue to buy it.

hope and pray that this product will remain on the market. So often when I find the perfect product
for me, in a short time the company will come out with something new....this has GOT TO STAY...
