Oat Beta Glucan is a unique ingredient derived from natural oats that acts as a natural anti-irritant which is safe for even the most sensitive skin. Bonus: 100% cotton gloves included. Use: Massage cream into hands, put on gloves and allow cream to penetrate overnight. For Best Results: After applying Intensive Hand Treatment Cream, we recommend that you microwave the supplied cotton gloves, for 10-15 seconds, then put the gloves on and allow cream to penetrate overnight. Make sure the gloves are not too hot before putting them on.

2 out of 5 stars Not really worth the price   February 1, 2010

I bought this hand creme because I tend to have recurring problems with really dry and itchy skin on my hands, of course worse in the winter. It was suggested that I try using moisturizing hand creme and wear gloves at night while I sleep. I bought this creme because it came with a pair of gloves, and at the time I didn't know where to look for gloves otherwise. br / br /The creme itself seems like nothing special. Yes, I'm sure it moisturizes to a degree, but I don't see that it is any better than anything else for as expensive as it is. As for the gloves, those were a total waste. I understand they are supposed to be thin and lightweight, just enough to keep the moisture in but not be uncomfortable to wear while sleeping. But for me they were too small, and they started to fall apart within a couple weeks. The holes weren't even from stress of pulling them on, either, as the holes started appearing in the sides of the fingers of the gloves where there was no stress. br / br /I quit using the gloves and instead found other gloves that were pre-treated with aloe (I think at Kohl's, or at someplace like Bed, Bath and Beyond) that were much better quality gloves that fit me snug but correctly. I still use the creme at night with the gloves, mainly just to use it up. In my opinion, I would much rather use Gold Bond Ultimate Healing skin lotion, which is what I put on during the day when I need it. When I use up the last of this creme, I will be using the Gold Bond at night with the gloves instead. The Gold Bond seems to work much better in my opinion, and I got two big bottles of it at Sam's Club for about 2/3 the price of one little jar of this creme. I would never buy this stuff again.
